I'm hoping either slackerboy, Moni or Sazerac will see this thread.

What GIF animators do you guys use? And can anyone recommend anything? I used to use Ulead's GIF Animator, but my trial period ran out. Then I switched to GIF Construction Set Professional but it's not the most user-friendly thing in the world. Any suggestions?

I am PARTICULARLY interested in replies from slackerboy on this topic (seeing as he merged my 2 gifs together) but responses from anyone skilled in this would be welcome.

what i use is a combination of Adobe Photoshop 6.0 and Adobe Image Ready 3.0
when you load a gif into imageready you can click a button and it will open the file in adobe photoshop as a PSD file. each frame becomes a layer. then i edit the layers and when i'm done i click abutton and it sends it back to imageready.
then i can do all the gif animation stuff there. like delay time, looping. resizing what ever.

Saz and I both use Paint Shop Pro. It has an animation shop.
If Saz uses any additional programs I'll let him tell you what they are.
