Hey I'm experimenting with hosting pics etc and I thought this would be a good place to practice.
This is my prize winning Karl Franz model!

It certainly wasn't my first effort. But it is interesting to look at my first paint jobs compared to my later ones. I havn't painted in 2-3 years now though, since I don't like the new game.

Yes it is nice to looks back at your first painted model compared with your latest efforts, I always kept my first painted one, though I painted over all the others that I had first done, nice to have a mermory.

I stopped playing space marines a long time ago, what you have look's nice and you should be able to get a fair bit.

As to rules, 40K 4th is pretty easy to learn and play, you only need your own army codex and they are only £12-15 each, the rules are simple enough for 10 year old's to play (though they tend to cry when you beat them into the dirt on turn 3)

Warhammer is a good game as well, you need your own army book to play, and the rules are a bit diffrent from 40k, more mature in a way.. Less kiddy's play it, so you don't hjave to listen to crying as much..

Both are fun, worth going into a GW store and asking for a introduction game.

I really doubt there are Game Workshop stores in my area...

But I know of a store that might carry those books. The only problem is that the shop is 150 kilometers away...

How much do those books cost?

Since the thread has been resurected. I may aswell ask, any new guys out there that want the Warhammer? I haven't sold it yet, although I suppose I haven't really tried as I was trying to sell it locally but that didn't work and I haven't put it on ebay yet.

Sell it on eBay...

You make MEGA CASH...

I'm talking 24 inch rims, lowriders, 4-finger rings, platinum chains, Mr Frosty crushed ice drink maker...

Mr Frosty, he's so fun...he makes drinks for everyone!

$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Sell your Warhammer on eBay and some fool is guaranteed to buy it for a lot more than i t is actually worth (in terms of how shoddily painted it is, and how long it's been exposed to the "elements").$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Wobbly wobbly here comes the jelly.
