As one of those things you do on a day off; I came up with my list of my top 10 favorite albums/CD of all time. I thought I would share them with everybody. I'd be interested in knowing if others have 1)heard of them and 2) would give their opinion on them if they have listened to them. They are in no particular order.

COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING King Crimson
AFTER THE GOLD RUSH Neil Young
AXIS BOLD AS LOVE Jimmi Hendrix
ELECTRIC LADYLAND Jimmi Hendrix
TO OUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN'S CHILDREN Moody Blues
BENEFIT Jethro Tull
THE YES ALBUM Yes
COULDN'T STAND THE WEATHER Stevie Ray Vaughn
A MIND IS A TERRIBLE THING TO TASTE Ministry
UMMAGUMMA Pink Floyd

None of them make my top ten list, but it's all music I listen to, so I could definately jam on them all.

You'd get along with my brother REAL well, he's a big fan of most of that stuff. I tend to like more modern stuff like r&b, hiphop, and the odd rap album.

edit>and lets not forget the eighties classics!

Interesting list

Personally I would avoid the Moody Blues completely and substitute "Close to the Edge" for "The Yes Album" and "Aqualung" for "Benefit"

Copy that. though overall it does sound sameish, perhaps joni mitchell's BLUE album for a nice female voice and perhaps some Motorhead NO SLEEP TO HAMMERSMITH or acdc BACK IN BLACK just for when ya gotta get things moving and rock that aggression out of ya. Could not choose which 2 albums out of the ten you would drop though

Interesting selection, and a varied mix.

Personally I dislike Yes and Pink Floyd.
Moody Blues - mmmm OK but a bit boring.
Jimi Hendrix - great guitarist.

This week I have mostly been listening to:

Rod Stewart - Never A Dull Moment
The Beatles - Revolver
The Spencer Davis Group - Every Little Bit Hurts
The Rolling Stones - The Rolling Stones
Small Faces - Autumn Stone
Various - This Is Soul (Atlantic)

I own the original Motorhead 12" single, the 1st album (amongst others) and saw them twice with the "classic" trio lineup. Absolutely superb

G'day Epona

Love the ska two-tone sig. i've been humming ghosttown for the last ten minutes. Good memories.
