I just discovered you can have 3 portals set, ie one for each area-
ie eastern forests, Midlands and Western seas.

Neat, isn't it? Didja know you can have even more? You can also set one in each dungeon, too.
Basically, you can set one portal per character in any major map area. Pretty handy, when you get down to it.

Yep, one per character. To keep things simple, I usually have them cast it on themselves -- it may actually be one per spellcaster, as opposed to one per character.
There's only one downside to it -- every so often, somethings happens in the game that wipes out my portals. When it does, every one is gone. And that can really stink.
