I recommend Japanese to anyone who is even SLIGHTLY interested. Contrary to popular belief, it's not as hard to learn as it seems. It's all a matter of getting around the script. This is easy, as it's all set out in tables in a proper guide. There are two types of Japenese script: Hiragana and Katakana. There is also Kanji, which deals with words like days of the week, months etc. I found Japanese very easy to get a grasp of, and now I am quite fluent.
