Caroline Rose Woodruff was born at 10:34am, on Christmas Eve. Due to lack of staff and a busy morning, the time it took from admission at 6am to the doctor breaking water was three hours and thirty-six minutes. Karen was dilated to six centimeters when she was admitted. With more problems in finding a doctor at the right time, it was 10:00am before she began to push. She was already ten centimeters, plus two. The plus two was that the baby was almost out without pushing. In three pushes, she was out. She weighed in at seven pounds, fifteen ounces. Length was not taken at that time. Karen received the Epidural during her labor, which took the pain down considerably well.

Congrats Larry & Karen!! And Merry Christmas, as well!

Off topic: Why is it that Europeans say "Happy Christmas" and Americans say "Merry Christmas?" You would think the usage would be reversed as "merry" is something I would expect from the Queen's English. Just one of those thoughts, I guess.

Later! (and merry Christmas/Kwanza/Hannuka/etc. again!)

I say both but use 'Happy' more> Signs at home will say either one.
