Ok, so not exactly. On the way back from the cinema with my lass, my alternator died. First my CD player went, then my interior lights, finally followed by my exterior lights. I had to drive home in pitch black with no lights, and when the street lamps died I had to knock on a rich guys house and ask if he could lead me home so i could see, bear in mind this is a total stranger, and he pulled out his DB7 and drove me home.
But I have to be in Newcastle (300miles away) by Monday for a lecture, but I cant get the part 2morrow as scrap yards are shut, so I might be stuck. Sniff sniff.

a stranger goes out at night in his DB7. a very trusting soul, or you must have a innocent face. Sorry about the car but an alternator should not be too hard to find even on a sunday in the senic lancashire countryside. What car do you have?
