Sir_Tainly.. the same thing happened to me!! Had to reformat my whole C drive Sunday. Luckily was able to transfer save games to another drive tho. Forgot to save my email address book.. but hey, priorities you know!

Thanks Yorick for remembering I'm an "oldie". I started lurking here the week I got BG2 (1st or 2nd week of October).. signed up not too long after that. I didn't start really posting til the forum moved here. Now you can't shut me up!

Cloudy, home sick today

Well a god fighter with backup of a good cleric with some archers can deal with thoose piles of bones, thoose that really scare me the first time was the ones throwing fireballs at me.. Suddenly when I was about to start disarming traps my thief ate a fireball, poor lass, she now has a very trendy shortcut...

I had backed up as well, but only to another partition of the drive, so it didn't help.

Hi Wolfie and SirTainly
Yes I am a real oldtimer but in the "how old are you thread" I seem to pull down the woman's average age by quite some years

Well me calling you old timer really is pot calling kettle black, 'cos we are the same age

I meant old timer because you were on the board before me.

CloudBringer.
There was an older forum, which was running just before the end of Feb.
It only started in march if memory serves me.
Some members joined up in January (such as me), on this forum, but that was actually during a sort of "beta" period, when the new server was being tested.

I first started posting, just bg2 related stuff, whilst I lurked, and read sylently over the off-topic stuff. I then began to join in, and look where I am now!

SirTainly...I know what you meant by oldtimer just making use of two definitions of the word
Sylent, good seeing you! My health isn't very well... but I'm still happy enough so it doesn't matter

Well, it's good that you are happy
It might be said that I am an old timer, though in fact age only seventeen years.
