Wow.. 200 posts, for this topic.. that should be a record!!! BTW: i forgot something; should there be some sort of alliance between the different races?? I mean: are the dwarves and elves currently living in peace or not?? Will you, chosing the dwarven homeworld as the world you're going to, affect the way the elves think of you?

Enmity and alliances may be fun, especially if they change during the game. It is not nessecary to pitch races against eachother, but you could if you wanted to. The Dwarfs and Elves are a good example of races who both fight for the "good" side but can't stand eachother's presence unless they really have to. Another (and better) option would be to have several different 'clans' of each race, which each have a different opinion on how to deal with others (this could be an entire race instead of just one other clan). For example, the Elves may hate dwarfs, or the wood elves hate dwarfs whilst the cliff elves ignore them alltogether. Or, one tribe of wood elves can't stand dwarfs, whilst another tribe has worked with dwarfs so often that the tribe and clan have become very close.

Throughout the game these relations might change. You might stop a small enemy army with help from both elves and dwarfs, bringing them closer together. Or, you could ask the elves for assistance in some quest, whilst their friends the dwarfs are under siege (possibly unknown to you). Then, when the elves don't show to help the dwarfs, their relationship might get worse. The relations could also change because of other reasons which have nothing to do with you (but may be the Upholder's work).
