Okay...Larry is helping me on another site, but it is looking dim. Don't read further if you don't want to be spoiled for Chapter 4!!

I went to the island with the asylum on it. The pirate lord did not want to help me and disappeared forever, so I killed the mage and got the ward stone.

When I went to Spellhold, I crossed the bridge, killed a few lizard men, a lesser air elemental, and found only one door. I went in, and there is an empty room with two doors that say they cannot be opened with magic or weapons. I have no way off this island, I have no one else in the village to talk to, and can't get into the asylum. Supposedly, someone was supposed to meet me in the room, but there was no one there.

In my party I have me (paladin lawful good), Minsc, Jaheira, Nalia, Yoshima and Viconia (evil drow). Is this causing my problem?

Please help...I have been working on this for two days, and am really frustrated. I have no save prior to killing the mage, so can't get off the island with another save.

Did you talk to the thief woman/man that came on the boat with you? I think you're supposed to talk to him/her before entering S.H proper.

Try going back out and looking for another door? Not sure if that will help, but trying to help

Normally, there are two ways you get into Spellhold. If you take the Pirate Lord route, once you are in the Spellhold, Jon will teleport in after about 10 minutes (while you are walking around in the building). If you decide to fight your way in, the coordinator will pop up once you are in Spellhold, if you attack him Jon will pop in, otherwise after bunch of dialogue Jon will pop in.

I did talk to the female Sime that came over on the boat with us, and she said she would send a message to Aran to get us some help, left, and I haven't seen anything yet.

Thanks for the help...I'm going to try sleeping while in Spellhold to see if the dude shows up, and then I will try to download the patch to see if it fixes this (if it is in fact a glitch which I am beginning to doubt)...if you think of anything else, I'll check back shortly to see what else has been suggested!

Are you sure you have the wardstoe equiped? If you do and your at the right door you may have a bug on your hands.

Hi, Serra,

I posted this in the other spoiler-Spellhold thread. It's a bug in the game, Kevin D's Baldurdash site has a fix for it. You can get that fix by itself, or download the lastest zipfile of all the fixes:

You want the Spellhold Asylum Entry and Sequence Looping Fix... it's down a ways.

I never had this problem either but I did patch my game early on. You have D/L'd the official patch and have it running yes? The official patch wipes out loads of bugs.
