Serpant Temple Help Please

I think I need a wand of some type to use with the other ingredients for opening the Serpant Head (Insence, Spider nector and wand). I read another post that a wand was used. I think I had a wand with a red tip earlier in the game but may have sold it. Can't find it never the less; Can some one help me determine what I need to do here?

You need the serpent wand that the Gypsy woman wanted. She will trade the Orb of Clarity for it. But make sure you use it in the temple first.

The wand is in the study above the library (use 4 monkey idols to call the lift). If you have already gotten it and cannot find it anywhere (shops or stealing it back from gyspy) there is one thing that may call it back again . . . have someone get the quest that calls for the orb of clarity again, go to the gysyp and she should give you the quest for the wand which should cue the wand to be back at the temple. Quest items usually reappear if someone new is given the quest.
