Holy toledo, Batman! I'll be in Canada in 19 days! Where has the time gone?

I'll be traversing the slopes in Sun Peaks ski resort, then after some much needed practise I'll be moving on to Whistler to have a go at THOSE slopes (and maybe perish in the process), finishing up with a few nights in Vancouver.

All this takes place in between February 4 and February 23.

So, IWers, is there anything that I must simply NOT miss whilst I am in these parts? Any advice would be welcome...

Me, if you can help it.

Also, Montreal is a gorgeous, fun city, and if you're in the area I do suggest you drop by for a spell.

I hear the museum of Anthropology is supposed to be a "can't miss" thing here. Never been myself though, because I've only been here a few months. As such, I know completely nothing about what to do here.

Edit: Here being Vancouver... I should probably mention

I'm at the other end and it doesn't sound like you'll near here. I recommend Quebec City/old Quebec over Montreal. You'll have a grater chance of "perishing" in Montreal that on the slopes. The drivers are nuts.

Our nations capital is beautiful.

I also recommend the guided bus tour in Vancouver. You'll see and learn lots o' stuff you would otherwise miss. My wife and I did it on our honeymoon!

Well, I'd say Stanley Park. However, BC has had some truly devastating snow and ice storms. I hear that many of the trees are damaged or down, and I'm not totally sure if the park is open right now. If it's open, take a walk around the seawall. There's some info and pics here.

I wouldn't say it's a "must-see", but Granville Island is neat. It's a fairly unique shopping and entertainment district. See here.

Oh, I think Gastown is a must too. It's right in Vancouver and it's not the best time of year for it, but it's a cool place.

Music, arts, theatre, no red lights that I'm aware of.

Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and anything in British Columbia are probably the nicest places around here. I hear there are supposed to be some beautiful beaches around here (near Toronto) but it's winter, so I don't know how much you'd enjoy that
