Larry, I think that sounds like it might be a good way for everyone to 'visualize' the donations at any given point. It certainly sounds like it'd be worth a try if it could work on the forum.

Sounds like a great idea. He could have his goal to reach every month right there for us able to donate to see. No obligation of course. Sounds great to me.

Dan, I have suggested before that we set up a subscription of, say, $5 a month for those willing and able. Is there no way we can put something like that in place?

Hey. Just read it. The paypal has been paid. You'll see the amount. It's under my mundane name.

::wiles away the afternoon posting at various places about Ironworks::

Ziroc, can you give your loyal fans a ballpark figure of monthly costs to keep Ironworks open, or how much you need before canning IW in the 10 days Timber Loftis quoted? The hearts (and the wallets) are open and willing to donate necessary upkeep money.

This idea has been batted around at various points along the way. Logistically, I can't figure out how it would work.

It is not an exorbitant amount that Dan needs but it is expensive. It would not take that many people committing to a modest amount each month to take care of it.

Thanks Pirengle, I totally understand! Any amount is appreciated! I just hate having to ask.
