My sister had to live with it for 20 years. My brother had to live with it for 17 years. I had to live it for 14 years. But finally, it is here. We finally have more than 13 channels of crap on the tv to choose from. We finally got satellite tv, after spending my whole life deprived of cable channels. Though I'd much rather have cable then get optimum online, it'd be too much to pay, since me, my bro, and my sis are paying for the dish. I am so happy. I've never seen so much channels in my life. But to be frank, most of what is on seems pretty mindless. But regardless, I am extremely happy.

Ahh, the boy has become a man

Yeah, you'll definantly have fun with satellite, a bit pricey, but its still good. I had it, but half the channels I never watched, so my dad got rid of it. Bad timing though, because he did it a week before a big PPV was supposed to come on, oh well.

Yeah, I don't watch most of the channels. Only the discovery channels, sci fi, science channel, history, and a few others.

But the reason also why my parents (mainly my mom) didn't want cable, is because we'd have to chew up the whole driveway and walkway, not to mention tear down a section of a wall and it was "complicated". I said "complicated my @$$" but that didn't convince em.

Welcome to the 21st century! All the channels you mentioned plus Court TV, where my favorites. I had to let cable go for a little while to catch up on bills. Including cable internet! Man I miss the speed...

Well I have the full shibang, Sky TV with its hundreds of channels. Although I never really seem to watch it anymore, all my spare time is spent on other things, such as computer, guitar, trumpet, reading, going out etc.

I always had court televsions shows. In fact, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm that is all they show. Judge Judy, Peoples Court, Judge Hatchet, Judge Joe Brown. THe list goes on. Not to mention doctor phil

Yeah, I lived my life on fox. I knew every single Simpson episode, and I could tell you which one it was one minute into the show.

Cool stuff, its like "CSI", only real.
