It took less than a day (total playing time) to finish HoW. Definitely too short! Some nasty fights but once you get the hang of one, you've got a handle on all of them. The cheesiest part is sending us against a dragon! Anybody who played BG2 should breeze right through the end (I did it in one shot). It was kinda sad, actually. Part of me had sympathy for the old girl!

Damn. Are you serious? If thats just bravado on your part be aware that it could be damaging for our enthusiasm you know. I hope you're being serious, but part of me hope's you're not, because $40 on a days worth of playing is a bit steep.

Bummer.

I finished it a few days ago. Overall I thought it was fun, but too short. Had some nice items though.

Got it a few days ago and thought it was quite good for how inexpensive it was. They might not have added a great deal of content but the new features were a nice touch. Also the greatly improved level limits made it well worth it. Did anyone else notice that your experience accumulated from IWD? My dual class fighter thief went up to level 23 when i installed the expansion.

Yes, like in BG2, your experience keeps on getting recorded, it is your level that has been capped, not the exp points being earned.

I'd love to claim simple bravado! Of course, it could be that i'm just real good at the game Sure,I could be talking out my ass but I know a couple of people who have had the IWD since shortly after it came out and still haven't beaten the game Of course, that could just mean they're really bad players too! My point is that I enjoyed what there was of it but the general consensus seems to be that it's too short. They could have made it a bit more challenging!

bahhh what a disapointment I't took me no more than about 8 hours to beat the entire expansion! I was expecting it to be MUCH!!! longer and harder. I found the same with IWD it's took me 2 full days of play to beat the game. Oh well Throne of Bhaal should be better.
