They allow your party to cast "Curse" on foes. I usually just sell them.

Hiya Rolp!

I always sold them too...didn't make much sense to curse something I was going to kill anyway!

Word has it though that a cursed opponent has a lesser chance of making a successful strike on your party so while you have them in your inventory, you might consider using them on anything you fear might hit or hurt you.

It is in Collasium, Moni. I found it in a chest in one of those rooms with the toppling pillars.

I found this post that I did recently and I thought I would post it again. What can I say? I like these conversations between myself... I mean between my characters.

I remember the first time I found out what those dolls were for.

Dezmund: Are they dead? Good. Brumburg, I think our rat got sick when that zombie vomited. Can you do something for him?
Brumburg: Sure thing, Dezi.
Dezmund: Stop calling me that!! If he didn't know healing spells.... Lauren, can you tell me what the heck this thing is?
Lauren: It's a doll. Or action figure if you prefer.
Dezmund: I know that it looks like a doll, but what good is it?
Knarfling: Maybe the Zombie needed something to die with and couldn't find a teddy bear?
Lauren: ~snickers~
Dezmund: Can you identify it?
Lauren: It looks like a Voodoo Doll.
Knarfling: Who do?
Lauren: Voodoo.
Knarfling: Who do Voodoo?
Dezmund: Stop it!! Lauren what does a Voodu Doll do?
Lauren: It is a Voodoo Doll, not a Voodu Doll.
Dezmund: I don't care what it is called, what does it do??!!
Lauren: I don't know.
Knarfling: I have heard about those things. Point it at Dezi and then prick it in the leg with this dart. It is not good enough to be a weapon, but use it as a pin.
Lauren: Okay... like this?
Dezmund: Ouch!!!
Brumburg: What happened?
Dezmund: There was a sharp pain in my butt!
Knarfling: You are always complaining that we are pains in your butt. Lauren, do it again.
Dezmund: Ouch!! Don't do that.
Lauren: I didn't poke it this time. And the first time I poked it in the foot.
Knarfling: Oops.
Dezmund: Knarfling!!! You little rat!!!!
Lauren: ~waving doll~ No, Dezmund, don't kill him!.... oops. I think I used this on you.
Brumburg: At least we will find out what it does.
Dezmund: What!??? What did you do to me?? What does it do?
Lauren: It seems to throw a Minion's Curse spell. It keeps you from attacking.
Knarfling: That same curse I got hit with in the Crypt?
Lauren: Yes.
Knarfling: ~big grin~ Then he can't kill me?
Brumburg: Don't push it Knarfling.
Dezmund: It is working! I have tried to cut that rat to ribbions and I can't swing! Lucky for you! Now how do I get this spell off me?
Brumburg: This could be useful on some of our enemies.
Knarfling: We don't need a doll to curse our enemies. We have Dezi to curse at us. If he can't curse them, no doll.. sorry dezi.. action figure will curse them any more.
Brumburg: You have a point.
Knarfling: And besides. Who you gonna use it on? How do you curse a demon? Aren't they cursed already? Will that just make them stronger?
Lauren: Yeah. And can you imagine using it on a Jungle Lily and then find out too late that it didn't work?
Knarfling: Why didn't I think of that? Dezi, you can use the next one on a Jungle Lily. I will stay back a bit and see if it works.
Dezmund: Will you stop chatting and get this curse off me?? We could be attacked at any moment.
Brumburg: Promise you won't kill Knarfling?
Dezmund: I promise NOTHING!!
Brumburg: Too bad. This may take a while to exorcise it. We might even have to go back to town and pay the temple.
Dezmund: Okay, okay! I promise not to kill the rat.
Knarfling: How much exercise does he need? I could have him chase me for a couple of hours.
Dezmund: I didn't say anything about not maiming him! Not one word!
Brumburg: Knarfling, it is exorcise, not exercise. But be prepared to run anyway. I think I better remove the curse.
Knarfling: If you need me, I will be hiding in Shadow.

I don't even bother to pick them up any more. They aren't worth enough to make it worth it. And Dezmund is a little leary about the rest of the party picking them up. I am not sure why.
