Canada kicked some serious ass in World Cup Hockey!!!

Too bad there's a lock-out now

Bah, it's only hockey, noone cares about hockey here. Come up with a decent footballteam that actually wins every now and then, and maybe, just maybe, i'm impressed.

And Sir G, no, i don't think Holland was in that tournament, as far as i know only A class nations can participate, and i don't know what category we're in, but it's definitely not A, probably Z or something.

Well I suppose if you waited long enough Canada were BOUND to win something eventually, based on the rules of probability.

Now if Canada won in say... water polo then I'd be impressed (well ok, I only say this cos Hungary are european, world and double olympic champions)

Finland did well they really put up a fight in the final round for an exciting game. Finland is the future of European hockey.

I didn't expect Canada to lose any games in the tournament the team was just to powerful. Much like the old Red Army team back in the early 80's.

Speaking of which a dream match would be that old Red Army team as they were than vs. the current Canadian team. One of those dream matches that can never happen.
