If a level 50+ fully powered Necromancer and a level 50+ paladin met and fought who would win? I think this would happen,
Necromancer: DIE! Cast Larlochs Major drain paladin Paladin: 30 damage taken Paladin: 20 damage Necromancer Necromancer: Spell Casting failure Necromancer: Mind Lock, Paladin P: Paralized and frozen Necromancer: Shrink Paladin P: Shrunk N: Sleep, Paladin P: Uncouncious N: Imprisment Paladin In your opinion who would win? A necromancer is counsumend eventually by the Necromantic powers. When I play as a Necromancer In the game for fun I memorize only Necromantic Spells and go around casting. |

I hate to defend a Paladin here. OMG, did I actually say that? But, if the Paladin were actually level 100, I would think this character would be especially favoured by the Paladin's deity. Should this character suffer supreme damage or harm, an avatar would probably appear and slap down the necromancer. Then, when everything else was done, the avatar would probably resurrect the Paladin and offer him safe passage back to whatever realm they were stripped from.

I would like to add, though, that if the two were around level 20 - 30 or so, I doubt the Paladin would be favoured at all, and they would get slammed by the necromancer. Just my two cents worth for the day.

Come on! The level 100 paladin would win by a mile. At such a high level his saving rolls would be about -20 each and he'd have some incredibly good priest spells, not to mention hit points. The necromancer wouldn't even be able to get a shot in, especially if said pally had a holy avenger, which by level 100, he bloody well should. Don't get me wrong, I think paladins are a poncy do-gooder class, but it's pretty dumb to think a level 19 necromancer could beat a level 100 paladin.

Yep, that would disturb the balance and the world into chaos. It is like saying you beat the crap out of Helm...

first some questions
how is a paladin gonna call an avatar during time stop???? second if a paladin make a save throw they only suffer half damage BUT I PUT THAT IN THE BATTLE however it is true the necromacer won't win coz the paladin would have about 350 HP and my necromance only did 220 damage |
