I'm really considering getting into Warhammer painting.

What book do I need to learn the rules?

The rules book!

Well it is quite a long book, although you can just sift through it for some basics, until you start to pick up the rules. It is quite expensive (Im throwing mine in with my stuff as I will no longer need it) but it is pretty essential to have.

Also Timber, that is one nice dreadnought, how much did you pay for that?

So it's not like Dungeons and Dragons where you have to buy a book for everything?

Mmm, well there is codex's for differnt races, but the main rules book basically covers it all.

Maybe you should re-name the thread to something like "warhammer 40k for sale" then people might notice it who are interested.

I havent played table top since 1990 still have some of my marines and a terminator or two. Anyone ever play blood bowl?

I have a skaven team with some goblins and ogres tossed in for flare, hehe lost one game in a season with them amazingly. Lost to the dwarves and there crimson wedge, hehe
