To celebrate the fact that I'm somehow online again:

26. Branch of mirth – joy division
47. Console adolescent brawl – Atari teenage riot

Had a few of Mouse's guesses as well, but ah well. I just hope Ironworks will stick around for a while now instead of dropping off the radar every five minutes.

19. Toybox
25. Public Enemy
43. Cradle of Filth

And I'd almost say that #14 is Eminem, but that's a bit too far-fetched perhaps...

Well done you! Puff Daddy.. I believe he erm… brings out songs that aren’t his own, goes “uh huh uh huh yeaaah yeaah” a few times and cashes in the proceeds.

YAY!! Well done Aelia!! That’s awesome.
I hate to say it but I did promise Grojlach on MSN yesterday that he’d get the credit for it, I just really wanted to wait a while before I posted the answer because it was such a cool one… I hope you don’t mind. I have to say though that Groj needed over an hour for it with lots of subtle hinting! (Groj: “God, I just don’t see it, and I’m sure he’ll turn out to be really easy in then end” Me: “Well, I can only hope he’s easy…” )
Quite impressive

Go Mousie!! They are correct, save one: 16 Peter Gabriel is incorrect.
And I was pretty pleased with my Shrewish Shrubbery and with the Bruce Springsteen one too... Oh well, all the better you got them!

If Peter Gabriel is incorrect, perhaps it's George Michael?

See the first post I made in this topic.

And I reckon Ironworks died on Mel at the same moment it died on me... What the heck is wrong with the IW-server at the moment?

Yeah, it did. I just threw up my hands in despair and went to shower. I will be off in an hour too, extra choir rehearsals. This really isn't funny anymore - I just cannot tell whether this post is even going to make it through or not.

Oh well...
Glad you liked the Dido one Groj George Michael is incorrect though. But it's getting warmer...
