Okay, here are the questions:
1. In Neverwinter Nights, chapter 2, where can you find the Tome of Life? 2. For all the creaky oldtimers out there (HEH), what sets the finale of Ultima IV apart from almost all other CRPG'S? (I will accept any one of two possible answers, or even both). |

Although I played Neverwinter Nights [ages ago], I had to cheat to find the answer. Therefore I'll only take a stab at question number two:
Is it because evil wins instead of good (ergo: you lose?)

Link, evil WIN in an Ultima? Especially U4? Perish the thought! Interesting guess, though wrong. Nice try.
Betel, you are absolutely right, and you're up next. |

let's see what i can come up with this time.
1. what race do you play as in the training missions in star wars: galactic battlegrounds? 2. what is the name of the angel you control in messiah?

Nightowl2:
Although I'm a little late in the piece, the Ultima IV question intrigues me and needs another shot in the dark. U4 is one of the very few cRPGs which features a more introspective quest that doesn't require the player to 'go slay the villain' in order to complete it. To me, that is what's most unique about its conclusion aside from the fact that it is ended by answering riddles(trying hard not to spoil it for those who haven't played it) It is also one of the most brilliantly profound games ever made - I even got my younger brother immersed into it for awhile on the holidays and he barely plays cRPGs. Betel: No idea. I don't feel the need to keep up to date with modern gaming trends, I just play what I feel like.

Cerebro, yep, that's one of the two possible responses; the other is, your (ahem) ultimate goal is to read a book. Not the typical finale of most CRPG's, eh?
P.S. I agree with your other comments, too. But let's leave it here or the thread will go offtrack. |

Although the name of the angel eludes me for the time being I could have sworn it was somethign starting with a "B".
As for Ultima IV, I haven't played any of the Ultima games, so that's a valid reason for my rather enthusiastic stab in the dark. Sue me

IIRC, the name of the angel in "Messiah" was Bob

link is correct. dbear is even more correct. so therefore its time for questions from a bear.
in galactic battlegrounds you cut your teeth while guiding chewbacca's father, attichitcuk around on kashyyyk. in other words, the answer is wookiees.
