Neb kicks open the doors and runs outside, looking behind him, he sees no sign of pursuit and continues onwards towards the army of shadowcreatures, when he gets close to the creatures, he raises the Shard above his head and begins chanting, as he approaches the army they move away from him, apparently repulsed by the power of the Shard, but they still remain as close as they can.

I guess so. Yet maybe we should count the KFA threads too, many members (well a couple) were very active there.
It shows you how many members joined and never showed up again...

Neb ran through the army of shadows who all kept their distance, after he had gotten to the other side of the army, he held the Shard high above his head with both arms, then chanted a spell, the small area of sunlight that surrounded the Temple of Aerie was quickly covered by a spell of darkness and the Holy Smite spells negated by Unohly Blight spells, the shadows, while wanting very much to rip Neb apart understood that this would be impossible while he held the Shard, and so, almost all of them turned away from him and headed towards the Temple.

Neb looked at the shadows moving towards the Temple and smiled, feeling considerably pleased with himself, he was surprised when he heard a voice behind him say, "You play with the power of the gods themselves mortal, put down the Shard now and I may decide to let you live as one of those in my army." Neb turned around and saw a large shadow that radiated power sitting on the back of a HUGE shadow dragon, the large shadow was wearing a crown with a lot of dark gems that looked much like the Shard that Neb was carrying, "The power of the gods you say?" said Neb, "Well, I believe that now that the Black Diamond has been shattered you are no longer immortal," "That is true," said the Shadowlord, "But once I possess the Shard I shall be a god once again!" "In that case," said Neb, "You're going to have to fight me for it, for I do not intend to surrender power such as this." Neb raised the Shard and the clouds above parted enough to allow a large area of sunlight to form on the plains behind the Temple, Neb headed towards the area and said to the Shadowlord, "Well? Shall we fight? Or are you nothing more than a coward." the Shadowlord shook with rage and ordered his mount towards the sunlight.

Neb stood in the small arena, facing the Shadowlord, the Shadowlord's mount, once hit by the sunlight had become a magnificent red dragon, and the Shadowlord himself had become a regal-looking figure, a pale human dressed in black robes covering a black diamond platemail and with a large sword made of pure black diamond at his side, as he saw the Shadowlord's form and felt it's power, Neb began to think that maybe he should just have given him the Shard.
