Andrewas .... how can you say VB is evil? It is sufficiently high level enough to hide all real useful functionality from the programmer while displaying extremely useful error msgs like "User defined or object error" .... What's not to like? Seriously though, I think VB is useful only for Windows front ends to DBs. For anything else, pick *anything* else ... hehehe.

PS - Did we become IW's (soon to be EG's) unofficial homework help desk or something?

Unofficial Tech Support I think sometimes. But anyway, VB is evil precisely because its too high a level. I dont mind having High level functions, hell I have libraries full of the things for C++. But I *detest* not having the low level stuff.

Besides, it runs interpratively IIRC and thats slowashell.

I did once write a wireframe 3D renderer in qbasic though... Interesting challenge, if nothing practical ever came of it. I did have half a proper engine in C++ but i just installed XP and kinda forgot to back it up. Sigh, still this one will be better.

Deathkiller, I cant help if you dont post some code. But I think you need to move what is now your main() (Or whatever in Visual C++, your main procedure anyway) to a subprocedure and call it multiple times from a looping menu procedure.

um yeah... I sort of figured that out 2 days ago when i spent an ENTIRE DAY reading 3 C++ and C# books... it's not too much unlike java... and the little trick is this:

DO
{
-_-
}WHILE

-_-
-_-
-_-
etc... I'm suprised I had to read all that to figure it out... I should use an index more often now, but I didn't know the name of the command I was looking for in the first place so I was doing a rather broad search, thanks for all the help anyway guys ^_^ I'm starting to like this language family a little more every day...

>_>

Oh let's face it...

Im no C guru but I do know that trying to mix C++ and C will make you go insane. Be nice to yourself, forget C and go with C++ or VC++

Ah,but can you change an image link when someone points and again when they click, with HTML ??
Can you open a new window automatically to display the contents of your page properly, and close the blank page underneath it, with HTML ??
Can you force your visitors brower to resize itself to, say, 800 by 600 pixels, and go back to whatever it was before when they close, go back, or type in another adress; with HTML ??

The answer is probably no, you can`t- you need JAVAscript for all that; Jscript Rulez !!
