No, but you can count games in hand when it gets a little closer to the playoffs.. not that the Stars, or Bruins, will have to worry about that... Leafs on the other hand..
True, but its not close to the playoffs, and as you said, it probably not going to affect the stars much this year.

You know if they would have won 2 more games they would have made it to the play offs last year? Man it was close.

The reason why Moose is correct here is due to winning percentage.

Winning %= points/points possible (points possible=games played times two)

Boston: 32pts/21 games; Winning %=.762
Dallas: 35pts/25 games; Winning %=.700

Hence, Boston is technically the best team in the NHL.

I can't believe it! I seriously bring you warning of the end of the world and it gets hijacked by the hockey thread.

Hmm... I guess I should start another one, eh? That's what we get for letting the hockey thread fall to the wayside. Hmm... perhaps I'll make the next one for all sports, or at least the North American ones...

There are enough fanatics here to support one for everybody. If they do maybe someone will explain cricket.

Run one for each sport! That'd be a lot of work. I think I'll go with the one-thread-for-all. Much easier on me.

Cricket? I don't think I'll ever understand that game. Any game you can play where the Aussies and British are good at it... I don't know about it.
