Thanks for the help Charean. Since I was born here I forget the hand-up we give to our new neighbors. Well it's time for me to polish my big belt buckle.

A TRUE CONFESSION FROM A BORN TEXAN

I don't own a cowboy hat.
I don't have a big belt buckle.
I haven't worn cowboy boots in 30 years.
I've only ridden a horse a few times and the last time was 1973.
I don't drive a pickup truck.
I don't own a longhorn or oil well.
I only say howdy to people who have never been to Texas.
I was born and live in a city that has over 1 million people.
I don't listen to country&western music. I listen to techno and rock (Check out Solerift website.)
I have a BS and Masters degree
I don't chew or dip tobacco or snuff
I don't drink beer
I've never shot an Indian (I'm part Shoshone)
I don't own a gun
I don't carry a knife.

Iron Ranger- I think it is more fun to keep the "foreigners" guessing. That's why I pander to the stereotypes and then shoot them down. My BS degree is in Agronomy and I got that at Texas A&M. I might have gone to school with your father or some of your neighbors. I've had the buckle/hat/boots/truck,listened to C&W etc. I know how to rope a calf and had a ferrier show me how to shoe a horse. I live on Mexican food and eat jalepenos and habenjeros all the time. In other words Ranger, we are brother Texans bound by the same desire (ie. let the rest of the world know that if it ain't Texan its nothing.)

LOL

Well I am not saying that I am like that, completely. As a matter of fact I want to move out of texas actually. I dont really have anything agaisnt it (most of Texas anyway), but my ideal place to move is Michigan.
