Listen to Timber Loftis, his words of wisdom drew me from the annoying rants of elwynn forest to the super awesome chants of chuck norris

I play Jubei Thos server (PvP) great fun if you love to pvp, always exciting getting a rogue who will go BOOM AMBUSH and then your screwed cause he uses clos >< Damn that bloody ablity really annoys me on my mage.

Thanks mate - it's actually 21 (I played 6 hours straight on Sun). I think I picked the wrong class though - geez the rogue is fragile. I can only ever take mobs on one on one - whenever I have to fight two in a row which are similar level to me (20-22) I'm screwed. Basically I do heaps of damage to one opponent until my energy runs out, then I my attack gets feeble until i regen my energy, all the while the other opponent is wailing on me and as my armour is pathetic I have to run away and start all over.

Yeah, as a rogue you are an escape artist more so. Maybe a warrior would be more to your liking. Although rogue damage is higher, as a trade-off for the leather armor. Hunter is also fun and can take on quite a few mobs at the low lvls.

Don't stop, just continue playing. Level some more until you get cheap shot. You get it at level 24 I believe. That's when the fun starts to come in.

Also, what build are you? Be a combat sword rogue (dagger sucks, really). While dealing a higher dps than anybody, a combat sword rogue can handle 3 ~ 4 enemies at one time (improve slice and dice+evasion+blade flurry). And because of combat potency, energy regeneration is never a problem for a combat sword rogue.

Btw, ever tried crowd controlling? If it's a humanoid type. Sap one so that you will have less enemy to fight. Worse come to the worse, remember that you can always vanish or run away by sprint.

My rogue was my favourite character to level, I have a combat Mace rogue and while leveling I was easily able to take on 3 or more enemies if done correctly.

Just stick with it and you will realise just how fun the class can be (Especially if you like being an a$$hole to other players )

Well, since I've invested so much time in getting myself up to 23, I'm not going to bloody start over now, am I. And I'm one off 24.

I tried using swords instead of daggers but I couldn't use half my abilities, so I stuck with daggers and am going the assassination build - ambush, gouge + backstab, sinister strike, evisceration etc. I just ran through Deadmines and got some decent gear. Those of you with rogues, are you using dual swords or daggers?

Getting vanish was massive for me - plus I'm learning how to use sap. Bugger that you can only use it on one mob at a time though.

Here's my profile now - I'm still struggling when I have to fight multiple lvl22+ mobs at the same time even though my armour is 700+ now. Plus I'm getting beaten up in duels by rogues lower level than me - any tips???
