Does anyone know any good level 5 spells that my diviner could use?

Any level 5 spells that they can cast. Remember, they can cast any spell that is not in their opposing school(s), so don't limit yourself to divination.

Also, Welcome to Ironworks!

Nighthawk Shadehound,

If you have HoW installed, then your Diviner's opposition school is Conjuring (which will put a big crimp in your Mage's defensive repertoire).

A bit of unsolicited advice: Pick your specialty by looking at the opposition school. If your Mage specializes (which I personally like to do) and your party only has one Mage (something I don't like to do) then Illusionist is probably the best school in which to specialize (opposition schools = Abjuration and Necromancy). Do not specialize a party's sole Mage in a school that has Conjuring, Illusion or (especially) Evocation/Invocation as it's opposition school.

Hope this helps.

I created a new mage and he's a conjurer. He's level 14. Thank you for the advice...does there happen to be a patch to get rid of the built-in experience cap?

By the way, the Baaz Draconian looks better than the stars. I know you can't really choose, it's just by number of posts.

I bet that there is a way to get rid of the cap, though the easiest way (and most fun) is to get HoW expansion pack, which significantly raises the cap.

Nighthawk Shadehound,

Funny, it is, how tastes differ. I could hardly wait to get rid of the Baaz Draconian (I think that is what I had) and get the stars: a so much cleaner look. Well, here I am, making a post that will get me out of the stars avatar that much sooner and into the socks of some horrific creature I'll guess; so it doesn't make a whole lot of difference.
