I just thought you'd all like to see a little bit of what we have coming up soon. This link takes you to NWN official website, where you can view three aspects of one of three new tilesets coming soon. No Spoilers involved.

Well yes I agree with you but hey they look well. I do however, think this whole expansion pack is cheap and anyone can see that. Just the first (of many) attempt by Bioware to make an extra buck on this game...yes the new stuff looks good but come on, 2 new tilesets? Some new spells? Few new monsters? Some feats? This should be freeware.
And like sheep to the slaughter we will (including me) go and buy this expansion because really, we have no choice at all in the matter - all the mods have updated to it, and everyones casting 'Bigbys Crushing Hand' so mindlessly we buy it....and with the next expansion pack the same happens so again mindlessly we buy it.... Well, its actually 3 new tilesets not 2, also there is meant to be over 100 new spells, around 15 new monsters, 10 new feats, 2 new sub-classes, loads of new stuff in the toolset, and a new campaign, so, all in all it will be rather good.

New Prestige Class: Harper Scout
This has been up in the news for a few days now, but nobody was mentioning it. What do you think? I personally like it, because I enjoy the Harpers novels. It will be cool to play one officially.

I thought that Bioware had confirmed that there would be 3 prestige classes added, the Harper scout and one other named one (which unfortunately i forget - anyone else know what that one is?) and a THIRD un-named class. The speculation is that it will be one that will balance the choices amongst the broadest possible range of classes AND alignments. Assassins and blackguards seem to be the strongest contenders for the third PC.

Not being a fan of the Forgotten Realms setting I can't say I'm thrilled to see such a setting specific prestige class. I suppose it's unavoidable given the fan base of the Realms, but it would be nice if the expansion is only going to introduce a few prestige classes to have them be a bit more general in character for those of us who are not interested in adventuring in the Forgotten Realms or in using Realms elements in our game settings. Hopefully the other class or classes will not be so Realms specific.

Well, one of the PCs under consideration was the Red Wizard of Thay. That is DEFINITELY FR specific, as is the Harper scout. The Assassin and Blackguard could be considered more generic. Hopefully, they will do something along those lines.
