I tried to make it work with thunderbird, but couldn't. It whines something about "malformed command" and "password required".

I don't know why you haven't gotten any invites yet, Bozos. I got invited by Ross and a week later I had my six invites, all of which have been used up by now. Three for friends, two for Ironworks and one for a friend who did not reply to it...

I have... 6 invites left.

I do have one gripe about GMail though... how do you make subfolders in GMail???? My Inbox is getting cluttered!!!! Labels are not the ideal solution for a clean Inbox.

The password should be correct. I start thunderbird. It asks for my password. I give it my password. It says: "Sending of password did no succeed. Mail server pop.gmail.com responded: Password required" and asks my password again. I give it my password again. It says: "Sending of username did not succeed. Mail server pop.gmail.com responded: Malformed command". And I don't know what to do.

Dundee: if you put the mail into all messages then it won't bother you in the inbox and if you click on a label on the left hand side you only see the messages to which you have applied that label.

Woot! I never noticed the Archive button before. Clean inbox once again! Wonder if you can make sub-labels?
