Well, this kinda bites. I gave my character tehmpus 3 proficiencies in halberd in anticipation of trying out this "Wave" weapon. Tehmpus is sort of a two-handed weapon specialist. All he knows is claymores and pikes. I sort of feel cheated, because when you get the option of going to the Underdark or going on a ship with Saemon... it felt to me like taking the ship was the coward's way out. I told Saemon (who had been a traitor earlier in the game) to stuff it, and went into the Underdark instead. Saemon should have considered himself lucky that I let him continue breathing IMO. Who would have known that you (as the player) would be screwed out of going to an area by taking the harder seeming route? Im darned mad about this.
