Help !!
Is it posible to play W&W with Windows XP ? I have tried MANY times to install W&W with different reasults .. The best I got was only one enterance out of the first city. Really anoying ! Some things work and some thing don't could'nt get in to the temple either... I have played the game several times with 98 but thats years ago . I kind of miss it I really hope someone have a solution or patch or whatever . Mvh SteinL |

You might check the compatibility. XP will let you run programs in a compatibility mode, which might let you run it as if you were running Win 9x.
To do this, right click on the shortcut, or on the program itself in the start menu, and select properties. In the properties tab, there should be a compatibility mode in the tabs across the top, select the check box, and choose whichever Windows you think it will run best in.

It sure is possible! I just finished a game on XP. Take a look at the Tech Tips thread at the top of this forum, and you will find the list of things you need to do to get it to work properly. FWIW, I used Win2k compatibility during my last game... worked well. Give those things a shot and let us know if you still have problems.
