I worship at the altar of the god that is Jonny Wilkinson.

Bring it on you whingeing Australians!

You'll have to imagine me doing the actions.

Swing low, sweet chariot,
Comin' for to carry me home! :|
I looked over Jordan and what did I see,
Comin' for to carry me home!
A band of angels comin' after me,
Comin' for to carry me home!

|: Swing low, sweet chariot,
Comin' for to carry me home! :|

If you get there before I do,
Comin' for to carry me home,
Jess tell my friends that I'm acomin' too,
Comin' for to carry me home.

|: Swing low, sweet chariot,
Comin' for to carry me home! :|

I'm sometimes up and sometimes down,
Comin' for to carry me home,
But still my soul feels heavenly bound
Comin' for to carry me home!

I hate to be pedantic, but you got a couple of the words wrong... It should read:

Once a jolly swagman
Camped by a billabong,
Under the shade
Of a coolibah tree,
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Down came a jumbuck
To drink at the billabong,
Up jumped the swagman
And grabbed him with glee,
And he sang as he stowed
That jumbuck in his tucker bag,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me."

Down rode the squatter,
Mounted on his thoroughbred,
Up came the troopers,
One, two, three,
"Where's that jolly jumbuck
You've got in your tucker bag?
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me"

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me."

Up jumped the swagman,
Sprang into the billabong,
"You'll never catch me
Alive," said he,
And his ghost may be heard
As you pass by the billabong,
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me.

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me
And he sang as he watched
And waited 'til his billy boiled,
"You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me."

OH! England won did they? without scoring a try! yaaaaawwwwwnnnnnnn.

I woke up this morning to people on the radio news calling for rule changes to make it more intresting to watch the poms! Still well done England, is there any chance of a major accident happening to Jonny Wilkinson before next weekend :fingerscrossed:? and as Leonis says

Waltzing Matilda,
Waltzing Matilda
You'll come a-waltzing,
Matilda, with me!

Unlike Australia who won with with an interception and the Lord of the Dance Michael Flatley!

Pom bashing is now the national sport in Australia, but as my Mother used to say "it's like water up a duck's arse".

Are there any England supporters in Sydney yet Wellard? I watched the semi and there was tons of snow in the stand - pure white!

I can smell the fear all the way from the motherland - "please don't let the poms beat us, please don't let the poms beat us!"

As a good German citizen, who abides by the rules that govern international relations, I fully acknowledge that it is my duty to root against anything and anyone associated with the perfidious Albion. But this time I will have to make an exception: Is there anything more despicable than beating up your little brother? All those lovely little Keas somersaulting on the snow-covered slopes of New Zealand's moutain's out of desperation right now expect revenge!

By comparison, by beating France England did the absolutely necessary to preserve world order. What business do these French have to play Rugby at all!? Honestly, any nation that is not a former British colony should not even be allowed to compete!

Well, Donut, I surely would have thought that s.o. with your sense for linguistic subtleties and nuances, understands the difference between playing and actually competing in a sport ...

Grüß Gott!

And it is true that I haven't been here much over the recent months and when I did come here I mostly limited myself to just reading posts by others - including a couple of excellent ones by you.
