Umm my question is where is Hae'r Dalis' gem. Well Ive already killed Mekrath but where is his gem?.

This level is exactly the same image as floor 3 of Durlags tower in BG1, with the gem being on the altar where the tome of WIS was in BG1. And its still trapped.
Unless im mistaking this with another section, but i dont think so. |
