Magic weapons

I wonder if the weapons that can be upgraded by variuos smiths are any good. Are they worth it?

I was thingkin about having my greatsword +1 upgraded
(is the greatsword any good?)

yes, the thing that is crafted is better than the original weapon.

The upgraded great sword gain 2 points of fire damage per strike. This isn't earth shattering by any means. The nice thing is, it allows you to bash open damage resistant chests. All in all, it's worth doing, but you won't be using that weapon forever.

depends on you really, btw, you might want to start crafting weapon on chapter 3. those adamantite and diamonds can only be found on chapter 1. and good weapon mostly found on chapter 2 above.
