Here's one that applies to everyone posting here:

I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.

As long as there's no flaming involved, otherwise i will be on your ass like glue.

One of my favorites, though i dont apply it to myself when playing BG2:

Last friday I learnt another one:
"Dont leave your work for the last day, or you´ll have to be 32 hours working without sleep". I assure you it isnt a pleasant experience, has misplaced my body clock so much.

Hey Rikard I just looked at your signature and its very similar to what a spanish showman said in his program:

Also, probably my all time favourite poem, and one in which I have found succour, comfort and the will with which to continue in some very dark times. It will be instantly known by many people on these boards but I will post and share it with those who may not be familiar with it anyway.

BTW No remarks about "philistines", I'm just going to TELL you that this is from Macbeth by William Shakespeare... yes, my dear Patriarch that's much nicer don't you think (oh, and the correct quote is of course "All animals are equal but some are more equal than others")

Which in a free translation tells about how Fortune is as fickle as the moon: now increasing, then decreasing; melting power, but also poverty, like ice. You never know on which part of the wheel you are, down or up. When you're at the top, you can only go down and when you've reached the deepest depth of misery, you cling to the hope that the wheel must take you up again.
