Hi,
no problem, i was busy with real life so i couldnt get care of wizards and Warriors anyway. I cant get into game setting unfortunately, the game crashes before the main menu starts...always. I now used a host of different video card drivers ....ranging from 40.. to the newest for my Geforce FX 5200...no use. As it is at the moment i dont have a clue what else to try....ill buy a new harddrive in a month or so and install win xp new...maybe it works then |

I just came across a piece of information from an old post... try going into your vid card settings and reduce the vid card acceleration. Someone (whose name escapes me now) ran into problems where the game was accelerated too fast and didn't work properly. They disabled acceleration completely, but you might not have to go that far...

Some notes here as well.
You don't have to pay for the indeo codecs. I'll supply a link later today. After that is installed your game should work Walks. Yours is a little trickier scrooge. FX 5200 shouldn't be a problem. Try busting back to directx 8.1 and use the 41.09 or 30.82 drivers. |

i just installed the indeo codecs and hoped it helped maybe, and it worked !!! Weird that some movie codec can crash the game, you could expect that the game doesnt display the intro but such a hard crash.....anyway many thanks to Bungleau and WillowIX for your help [img]smile.gif[/img] |
