Hey Bahamut! How are you on this fine friday?

I've never even played Diablo. Is it as good as they say? I've heard that all it is, is a hack-and-slash game which was falsely advertised as an RPG. Is this true?

I am doing fine thanks

Well I am gonna doze off in a few... hehehe it's late

Sir Mando... it is an RPG, but it depends on the definition... it can be said it's a no-brainer, but nevertheless an RPG. The hack and slash aspect of the gamee is just so incredibly fun and can be the medium with how you deal with things that make it.. a lil boring than it's counterparts... but then nothing beats Diablo on stress release and relief

Sir Mandorallen, i think Diablo 2 is a wonderful RPG. yes, it is an RPG, what else would you call it? calling it an action game or whatever just isnt right! it has most of the RPG elements- it has quests, monsters, swords and magic and thats enough to make it an RPG. saying it shortly, its as much RPG as Dungeon Siege is. you might think im crazy or something, but i liked D2 more than DS because it had a cool story, very awesome cinematics("Marius.. I am not the archangel Tyrael.." god, i loved that part!!! ) and DS just didnt give that good feeling the Diablos and BGs gave when i finished them. Diablo 2 is a cool RPG !
oh, i meant that i was tricked into buying it! *sob* damn blizzard and its deceiving action game!(ok, not really, i just said what the diablo-whiners say .)
anyway, if you like DS for what it really is, not because of the awesome graphics, im sure you would love D2 too!
plus, D2 had cooler monsters than DS had though they didnt have anything to do with Forgotten Realms..
