Does any of you like Mary Chapin Carpenter ? I know, I know, she's country but she has some great lyrics too.

Like my favourite song : Why walk when yo can fly ?

In this world there's a whole lot of trouble baby
In this world there's a whole lot of pain
In this world there's a whole lot of trouble but
A whole lot of ground to gain
Why take when you could be giving
Why watch as the world goes by
It's a hard enough life to be living
Why walk when you can fly

In this world there's a whole lot of sorrow
In this world there's a whole lot of shame
In this world there's a whole lot of sorrow
And a whole lot of ground to gain
When you spend you whole life wishing
Wanting and wondering why
It's a long enough life to be living
Why walk when you can fly

And in this world there's a whole lot of golden
In this world there's a whole lot of pain
In this world you've a soul for a compass
And a heart for a pair of wings
There's a star on the far horizon
Rising bright in an azure sky
For the rest of the time that you're given
Why walk when you can fly

Dragonmage,

Even though I mainly listen to alternative, rock, and metal. I
love to listen to Enya at night. Turn the radio on low and go
to sleep with her serene sounds. Best sleep music ever.

Or if you're just feeling mellow.

If you ever feel fluttery check out Mozarts bumbble bee(i think,

Hiya Mitro.

Yeah, I listen to all kinds of music - lots of metal and classical and hard rock.....

But the last few days, I've been listening almost non-stop to Enya. Especially the song I posted. I've listened over and over to this CD probably 7 or 8 times today alone. It's a wonderful CD.

I'm in a very intriguing frame of mind right now.

Damn!! I'm wracking my brain trying to remember who did "Flight of the Bumblebee" now. My favorite stuff for relaxing include: Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, Marriage of Figaro, and Mozart's requem. I was listening to some Guesepie Verdi last night. He has some funky stuff. I try not to listen to slow music because I'm introspective by nature and I tend to make myself sad after a while.

Dragon Mage, for those odd moods, I listen to Beethoven's Fur Elise.

Yeah, Elif, I like Enigma too.

But, though I adore Styx and the whole Mr. Roboto thing, it's not what I'm in the mood for just now.

Rimsky-Korsakoff, hon. (ain't I just too good?)

Fur Elise would be great. I find Wagner most moving...deep and emotional.
