Hey guys,

today myself and 2 friends of mine start the adventure, for me it is the 4th time...and i am really looking forward to it.

Here are my "starting 6" this time:

1. SARGE, Lizard Male, WARRIOR (career: Pala, Barb, Ninja, Samurai)
2. LOKI, Ratkin Male, WARRIOR (career: Barb, Pala, Ninja, Assassin)
3. KAZUMOTO, Whiskah Female, ZENMASTER (no career )
4. SPYRIDON, Elf Male, PRIEST (career: Paladin, Warlock)
5. GOTHMOG, Elf Male, WIZARD (career: Samurai, Warlock)
6. SORLAG, Omphaaz Female, WIZARD (career: Samurai, Warlock)

The ZENMASTER is a lvl 1 Zenmaster with basic stats (18 Hitpoints, former Warrior). I created a new char, picked him up in Valeia and teleported him to Brinloch to be the 13th master and back to Valeia.

Ok, wish me luck, enough mana all the time and no game crashes

...to be continued...

Woohoo! Sounds like it will be a fun party!

Nice way to create a new zenmaster, too. I may have to try that next time...

Keep us posted on your progress

Doing the super role like that, I think you'll find your regular characters much more powerful than your Zenmaster, if only because they can train SO much more often than she.

Of course, once things level out at ~250k per level, they'll get onto the same page, but the early game may actually be harder for you this way -- doing solo (new) Zenmasters / Assassins is actually not a very easy game, IMO...

Agreed. In the Den of Thieves party, the pure rogues only made it to around level 25 by the end of the game. So only 24 level-up opportunities. When you consider that just one of those 250k levels could mean ten levels in a new class... well, the difference becomes apparent.

Note that the Den were still quite formidable at that level, even with their training disadvantage.

"May the Light illumine thee" upon thy journey...

anyways... keep us posted... and I think that no role changes makes an excellent game... but then again I do go for the challenge...

Hi out there...i have just arrived at the serpent temple. Here is the actual party:

1. Sarge FIGHTER now BARBARIAN Lvl 8 (turned to Barb right from the start)

2. Loki FIGHTER now BARBARIAN Lvl 7 (turned to Barb after 3 Warrior-Level)

3. Kazumoto ZENMASTER still ZENMASTER with incredible stats: HIT and PARRY +15, SPEED +29 --> he never misses and they always miss him Spellbooks nearly all skill-level 2, but he does not cast any

4. Spyridon PRIEST Lvl 8, will change after next level up to Paladin

5. Gothmog WIZARD Lvl 8, will change after next level up to Samurai

6. Sorlag WIZARD Lvl 8, will change after next level up to Samurai, too.

I (we) play hardest monster level and "often respawn" - it is hell in the temple, every 30 seconds i have to fight against a cobra and 4 other snakes.

Artifact-Skill is lvl 4 (Priest) and LockPicks is lvl 4-5 (Loki).

I completely left out the whole warrior-guild-quests including ToadVillage, because after changing the magicians to Pala / Samurai they can all get the first warrior-guild-quests.

...ah, and THX for the good wishes

Ok, here i am again.

Now finished the stout mines and the boogre caves.

I have actually 3 Warlocks in the party, the Zenmaster, an assassin and a samurai and they really kick ass

I left out the bongu idol 4 now and got 1 last wish on the lamp after receiving 2 swords.

Now it is time to visit the dragon Spire...

1 wish?... no you don't... use and drop b4 anything happens... you have more than infinity wishes if you're patient... not that that's cheating or anything... but who heard of only 1 wish?... get at least 3 to make a good story... ;P
