I ended up not going. The evidence against them was too harsh and I did not want to waste my gas driving a 40-minute round trip to the meeting place. I sent an email to the hiring staff that contacted me originally, explaining my reasons, spelling them out for her to know. She responded with appreciation for letting her know, but said nothing in defence to my claim.
