I somehow got sidetracked doing this quest. I originally came to the Temple District to steal something from the weathermistress and wound up underground doing some crazy quest for this unseeing eye cult. I was supposed to get some information and was asked to find this rod. OK, after much fighting and wandering around, I finally found the two pieces of the rod, which melded together. Now, what do I do with it? Seems like I could go give it back to the cult leader or return it to the ancient temple underground where I am so the rod could be destroyed. Which option is best?

You need to kill the eye with the Rod,and than go to the temple and destroy it.

or if you get what happend to me. the avatar wouldnt show up when i returned with the rod. probably a but. i'm just gonna drop the rod on the damn ground and leave. screw the exp.
