Do you just carry on from where you complete SOA with TOB installed or can you just start TOB?. I'd rather not have to complete SOA again.

1. Beat SOA, and you'll go to TOB from theree. 2. Star a new game at the beginning of TOB. 3. Import a SOA game into TOB.

What lvl do you go start with if you go straight into TOB?. When I last completed SOA I maxed out on my lvl's for all my characters well before the end and I just ended up wasting loads of XP points. I might be better to just complete SOA then move onto TOB unless I get a good startin lvl in TOB.

It's way better to go through SoA then ToB...better items, experience, spells, plus you can do the romances.
But (Spoiler?) ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It's even better to go through the whole trilogy though. With my dwarf fighter I had a natural 20 st, 19 dx, 20 con, 15 int, 21 wis and 17 cha, from all the bonuses in BG1 (tomes), BG2 (Hell), and ToB (watcher's keep.

Thanks. It just really got on my nerves that I coulda been a much higher level as I was a mage and also to clerics in my group would have been even more powerful. It must make the SOA alot easier to complete with higher lvl's. The final battle is not that hard if you compare it to say Kangaxx.

Actually, LL, I just tried creating a new game. Boring old fighter, went through it quick. Started @ 2.5 mill XP.
Warby - Jon (Slayer) was walkover. Him as mage was a biatch though.
