You could use it still. The demon had some really nasty bioweaponry. But they got 'downgraded' when he was revived as half human. Makes a nice story about the origin of the weapons he uses.

Maybe the weapons are no longer part of the character. When he was revived the bioweapons got separated. Painfully. You could even make a story that he had to retrieve the weapons (which were once part of him) from some hell dimension, because they got left behind there.

Or he can only use one at a time?
Or he can only use them for short times?
Or the strength of the weapons depends on the demonicity (cool, a new word) of the character. Is nice if there is some kind of struggle between the demon and human halves.

BTW Scythes are used a buttload, they are a very common "evil" weapon because of their connection to the medieval figure known as the grim reaper, something about the allusion to life and death in a scythe makes it very imposing. From what I read he wants a fairly original weapon, a lightsabers not is already taken so I think that one won't be used, katana's are fairly commonplace in the manga scene, p90 (personally I think thats one ugly gun) and all are nice but I think hes leaning more toward the close up combat side. Am I right or are my assumptions completely off the wall?
