glitch in Shurugeon Ruins??? Help!!

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this forum and need help badly! I haven't seen anyone else post this problem so here goes. I'm in Shurugeon Ruins and whenever I open a chest with a squid (snail like monster) in it and kill it, I'm not able to get anything out of the chest. This is a big problem since the chests hold items needed to continue the game. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Hello Leah,
The chest with the Squix in them hold nothing that you can get. I assure you the chests are there just as a home for these giant slimey snails. There are no important items inside these chests.

Welcome to the Forum, Leah. Stick with us. If you have any questions, there are posters here who have finished the game several times and know this game inside and out. (I've only done it once (hangs head in shame)).
Besides there are many fun treads going here and probably more to come, so have fun and know that in the W&W world, you're not alone!
