At the mo she's still got the club I got from Ireniuses dungeon and does a fair amount of Damage. Is there any better clubs she can use or should I gve her a Simitar thing instead?

Give her Blackhood, its for sale in trademeet after you solve the genie quest there. Its the best club in SOA and very effective against trolls.

There is a staff I found, don't remeber were or the name of it, but it could summon Forest shambles, and did a lot of damage. It was Druids only and therefore perfect for Jaheira.

I often equipped her with the Staff oy Rhynn (very expensive but +4) and available early in the game (at the adventurer's mart).
You can also try the Scimitar of Belm (don't remember its name exactly), it can be found in the ogre tower in the druid grove area ( it's only +2 but grants an additional attack). |

I don't remember where I found it, but Gnasher (+2 club) is also effective. Its thorns break off and deal an extra 2pts per round.
I found she was effective dual-weilding either Gnasher or Blackblood (the +3 club with acid damage) and Belm (+2 scimitar). Belm gives an extra attack per round as well... |

Put a proficiency in Spears and give her the Spear +3, Impaler. It does insane damage.
1D6 + 3, +10 piercing damage. |

Gnasher is from the druids quest.
From collection pack you can get some extra quaterstaff only for druids it is +3, +10%fire resistance, extra 3 spells Zbyszek |

in ascending order, the weapons i give to jaheria:
a plain quarter staff (table in irenicuses dungeon) a quarterstaff +1 (in the tank room in irenicuses dungeon) staff of rynn +4 (adventurers mart) staff of the woodlands +4 (underdark somewhere? or the asylum?) staff of the ram +4 (watchers keep lvl 4) staff of the ram +6 (pocket plane, cespenar) plus i give her a staff of air +2 against air elementals and other speciality weapons depending on the target. |
