Re: "The New York Post" Comics
While feeling very strongly about the Second Amendment and yielding place to none in my dislike of Sharpton (and Obama) I feel it incumbent to remark that the cartoon is in very poor taste and should not have been published.

Re: "The New York Post" Comics
One man's poor taste is another's favourite meal....or something like that
In any event, if only non-offensive cartoons were ever published all we would get would be a hideously anodyne press. Cartoons are to some extent the the graphic equivalent of poetry - they encapsulate a concept in a concentrated/abbreviated form. We may not always like the message behind them, but at least they make us think and discuss, and that surely cannot be a bad result. *Edit for Variol* Think of me as one of the Elder Gods whose benign presence and occasional posting enriches your existance.......or maybe not

Re: "The New York Post" Comics
A trained monkey could have written it up is the metaphor being attempted AFAICT. Coincidently the news was somebody's trained monkey ate a woman's face before being shot by police the day before the cartoon ran.
