Arggh, what is it with these conspiracy theorists .

Dav, the favourite was AN AUSTRALIAN also: World champion Jackie Cooper. We had it in the bag.

I tell you, NBC loved the blonde haired gold medalist though. She was all over the sports news here. Interviewed and interviewed again, slow mo replays of her ceremony at the end of the highlights program.

Just listen to the cash register ringing....

Yes Yorick - she had the three E's didn't she :

ENTHUSIASM
ENERGY
EMOTION

The way she expressed herself at the end of her jumps, and the way she cried at the end of the national anthem - how could you fail to get caught up in it all. The little Aussie golden girl , how could NBC not be impressed.

Just like Tatiana at Sydney, the advertising men and promotions middle men will be salivating over the opportunities.

I've seen her televised over and over since even making that post. They love the emotion from the ceremony, and the story of the Mum and sister.

Davros, I have to say. The Yoda bt cracks me up whenever I think of it. I mean, the whole thing of no gold ever, and then two in fourty-eight hours, makes me laugh. But your Yoda bit, gives me the "push over the cliff". Takes it from ten to eleven.

Thanks mate

Mind if I join in on the fun you guys are having... you'd think Icelandic people could find time to practice skiing, I mean there is snow here almost all the year except during xmas, but noooo the Icelandic contestants are very close friends with gravity. I don't think they have finished a run yet.

So I'm happy for all you real people there...

Actually what cracked me up was when someone in another thread said "Sorry, I shouldn't have started this - I didn't see the yellow snow thread" (meaning this golden avalanche). No it wasn't Wolfie -but I could't help laughing at the unintended reference to his signature .
