Thief Guild Hall

Im positive this has come up before but i couldn't find it in search. I remember reading about how you can avoid paying renals collecter. There was some debate to this and i can't remember the result. If you can get rid of his collecter without a world of thieves downpouring on you please let me know how to do it.

I'm afraid I can't help you on how to do this, but I DO know that there is a glitch in the game that prevents Renal's collector from ever showing up. I've had this happen once or twice when I first got the game so it is probably fixed in the official patch. I have to agree that I hate paying the money simply because his timer is different from your theives' timer. The theives sometimes finish 2 days before Renal's collector comes, so you have to make 2 trips to the guild. Perhaps you could turn him to stone as he runs out? I'll have to try a few ideas of my own.

I don't think there is a way, aside from a bug.I don't think it's that annoying, myself.

I just don't really wanna pay him, i could try turning him to stone ( that actually might work ).Is there a way to get rid of him, keep my guild and side with bodhi? I remember seeing somewhere that you could download a file allowing you to keep your guild when siding with bodhi, which allows you to take out the collecter ( i think ).

Ehh, just roleplay it. Thats what the game is all about in my opinion. If you are a thief, I think you should be able to side with bodhi (taking out large thief guild establishes you as the head theif of athkatla so to speak). But if you take them out, I don't think it should be available to you to keep your guildhall. After all, the thieves DO serve you, but they also serve other thieves that are technically above you. If you take them out, they just MIGHT stay with you, but more than likely fight you or simply run away at your sheer power.
