Even though it's written on the server page that EfU is a 24/7 server I've noticed that it isn't quite so, is it just to me that the server is down every once in a while, and if so, is it down at certain times?

Yeah, unless Ziroc has to take it down to reset or if it crashes...the game should always be up and running. It is intended to be available at all times day and night, but some people purposely turn their stuff off at a certain time or day. Ziroc does not use a schedule like that.

Hey StigTC!! (One of our major Regulars!!)

During the day, these past few days, I've been taking it down to playtest the new additions I am going to release soon, and need to check everything out. I rarely take it down, so this won't be something that happens all the time.

The crashes are gone now BTW, I found the script that caused it, and squashed it. , also, sometimes due to weather (in March-Oct) I may take it down for a hour or so to protect the hardware.

You and Roddybug have every square inch of EfU I bet!

*growl* I'm really curious as to how EfU looks, but first I need to buy both SoU AND HotU AND a new Sound Card (this one has a conflict with original NWN so that's the problem) before I can give it a try...

You should be able to join EfU with just NWN and HotU, and you can turn the sound off...

I thought you needed all expansions present on the server to join. Which would be SoU + HotU for EfU.

Yes that's right. There is SOU stuff added in there too, creatures, placeables etc.

Link, what sound card do you have? And have you messed 'round with the settings under advanced options in the game menu?

I've got a Creative Sound Blaster Live. Larry had the same one and had problems with NWN as well....
