Give it up, caleb! I can't believe you spent time pulling out this information which is meaningless, really. From what I can gather you are saying that a) the NBA finals were so boring that nobody watched them; and b) nobody gives two sh!ts about the World Cup in the US. The World Cup is the greatest show on earth. Although I am not much of a fan, I still watch it from time to time.

It is true that most Americans don't even bother about this game but look around and you will notice that the rest of the world is pretty much involved in the game. I think it is about time USA join in the crowd with the rest of the world.

i think it's gaining popularity in the US as we speak, and the better the US performs this tournament, the more people will care.
